Our aim is to extend the boundaries of best practice in sustainable supply chain management by working with leading international clients who are recognised by their peers as leaders in their class. For example in 2012 Skanska was named Green Company of the year by The Sunday Times and both Molson Coors and United Utilities have been named as sector leaders on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index. We are happy to have helped these and all our clients on their sustainability journey.
We aim to use our influence and that of our clients to influence supply chains to have a net beneficial impact on society. Furthermore we see ourselves as acting as the primary source of advice and guidance to leading international organisations and government policy makers on developing sustainable supply chains. We are proud of the role we have played to influence industry standards such as BS8903, governments and other interested parties to define and shape best practice in sustainable procurement.
Action Sustainability has at our hearts our Community Interest Company, this not for profit sister company receives a portion of our turnover every year and uses these resources to fund further research into sustainability or the provision of free tools and services to organisations that can benefit the community through more sustainable procurement practice. Work we have funded includes;
