Its origins lie in the merger in 1999 of the Institute of Environmental Management, the Institute of Environmental Assessment, and the Environmental Auditors Registration Association.

	The Construction Industry Research and Information Association CIRIA operates across all market sectors in the built environment and delivers programmes of business improvement services and research activities for their members and those engaged with the delivery and operation of the built environment. We are delighted to partner with them on the delivery of sustainable procurement training for the construction industry and the authoring of the definitive guide for sustainable procurement in the sector.
	The Construction Industry Training Board Action Sustainability are pleased to be working in partnership with the CITB in the delivery of the Supply Chain Sustainability School for the Construction Industry.

	Net Balance Our Australian partners, Net Balance has offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and London. They have over 40 professionals including environmental and social scientists, business consultants, engineers, lawyers, economists and accountants. They also run the Net Balance Foundation. This was set up to provide open-source, public good research and to work with NGOs and SMEs that cannot usually afford to pay the full cost of sustainability services. Collectively, they spend 20% of our time on Foundation work.
