EJ Allen brings 20 years of experience in developing sustainable supply chains, with expertise across construction, homes, rail, utilities, facilities management, healthcare, and defence.  

At Action Sustainability, EJ has developed a modern slavery gap analysis assessment tool and authored significant guidance, including the Procurement Guidance on Modern Slavery in Solar PV supply chains. She leads the UK’s largest anti-slavery collaboration in the built environment through the Supply Chain Sustainability School’s modern slavery group. 

Her clients include Ministry of Justice, Defra, Barclays, EQUANS, and Sky. Before her current role, EJ managed sustainable supply chain projects for local and central government and clients in the built environment. Fluent in Spanish and French, and proficient in Japanese and Catalan, EJ enjoys camping and travelling.
