Growth Marketing Manager

  • Salary: £50,000
  • Holidays: 25 days plus 8 statutory holidays plus 1 day for birthday

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will collaborate with teams across the business and internationally to deliver impactful results.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Lead and execute advanced growth strategies that drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue at scale, balancing both high-level strategy and hands-on execution.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align marketing initiatives with broader business objectives, ensuring measurable impact and ongoing optimisation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on market trends, growth opportunities, and emerging strategies, influencing key business decisions.
  • Establish long-term frameworks for growth, driving innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement across all marketing channels.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, ensuring high-quality campaign execution, adherence to timelines, budgets, and measurable results.

Growth Strategy & Digital Marketing

  • Develop, implement, and continuously optimise data-driven marketing strategies to meet ambitious business objectives.
  • Manage and optimise digital marketing budgets to ensure maximum ROI while experimenting with new approaches and channels.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and uncover new growth opportunities.
  • Optimise conversion funnels and user experiences to increase customer acquisition and engagement.

Channel Management

  • Content Marketing: Develop and implement content strategies across multiple platforms to engage audiences, support lead generation, and build brand awareness.
  • Marketing Automation: Design and manage workflows, creating impactful email campaigns to nurture leads and increase acquisition.
  • Paid Social Advertising: Develop paid campaigns, including ad creatives and lead magnets, and optimise through A/B testing.
  • SEO: Drive organic traffic by executing SEO strategies that improve visibility and rankings.
  • PPC: Manage and optimise PPC campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and Bing.
  • Referral Marketing: Develop and implement campaigns that turn clients into brand advocates.

 Lead Generation & Nurturing

  • Develop and execute strategies to capture high-quality inbound leads through various channels, including SEO, paid ads, content marketing, and social media.
  • Optimise lead capture processes and conversion funnels to increase the volume of qualified leads, working closely with the sales team to convert these leads into long-term customers.
  • Implement lead scoring models to prioritise and segment leads for sales outreach, ensuring high-quality handoffs.
  • Monitor and report on lead generation metrics (e.g. conversion rates, cost per lead) to drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct A/B testing to optimise lead capture forms, landing pages, and email campaigns for better conversion.

 Demand Generation

  • Design and implement comprehensive demand generation campaigns that create awareness, educate prospects, and drive interest in products and services.
  • Leverage content marketing, social media, webinars, email campaigns, and other channels to nurture prospects, build brand awareness, and support lead generation efforts.
  • Create and maintain a strategic content calendar that supports both demand generation and lead generation objectives.
  • Analyse demand generation metrics (e.g. website traffic, engagement, leads generated) to measure campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies in real-time.
  • Collaborate with sales, consultancy, and product teams to align demand generation campaigns with customer needs, ensuring consistent messaging and lead quality.

Technology Management

  • Oversee the rollout and continuous optimisation of marketing technologies to enhance productivity, customer experience, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Ensure seamless integration and management of tools (e.g. Force24, Insightly, Calendly) to optimise lead nurturing and campaign workflows.
  • Lead website redesigns and digital optimisation projects to improve user experience, conversion rates, and overall marketing performance.
  • Manage relationships with external technology providers to ensure seamless tool implementation and ROI.

 Data & Compliance

  • Manage customer data, ensuring full compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR, CCPA).
  • Use analytics and segmentation to deliver personalised campaigns, improve email deliverability, and optimise marketing performance.
  • Use data analysis to inform decision-making and optimise marketing efforts across all channels.

Collaboration & Team Development

  • Manage, mentor, and develop Marketing Executives, driving a high-performance team culture and ensuring the team is aligned with key growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and consultancy, to align marketing efforts with broader business goals and deliver consistent results.
  • Facilitate marketing training sessions and share best practices across the company, supporting a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Knowledge & Experience

  • 7+ years in digital marketing with a focus on growth, customer acquisition, and retention.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Knowledge across email marketing, SEO, PPC, social media, content marketing, and automation.
  • Familiar with tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Force24, and CRM platforms.
  • Expertise in improving user experiences and conversion funnels.
  • Well-versed in GDPR and data privacy, ensuring all activities comply with relevant regulations.
  • Proven track record of successful campaigns across various digital channels.
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Experience in managing budgets and achieving financial objectives.
