This award recognises Action Sustainability’s outstanding commitment and achievements in driving positive environmental, social, and economic impacts through its innovative sustainable purchasing practices. ISO20400.org, the winning initiative, is a globally recognised platform dedicated to promoting sustainable procurement. Established in 2017 by Action Sustainability as a Community Interest Company (CIC), the platform serves as a free resource hub, offering informative materials, an interactive self-assessment tool, and action planning guidance to help organisations of all sizes make tangible progress in sustainable procurement. Directed by a Steering Group of 23 sustainable procurement experts from 19 countries, ISO20400.org has become the “go-to” resource for best practices in the field.
